Proposal would allow drugs from Canada to be sold in N.D., Montana

North Dakota and Montana pharmacists would be able to import and sell prescription drugs from Canada under a two-year pilot project being proposed by Sen. Byron Dorgan of North Dakota and Gov. Brian Schweitzer of Montana.

"We hope that it would be a harbinger of a broader program that would give all Americans the opportunity to see lower priced drugs in this country," Dorgan said at a teleconference with media Tuesday. Read more
