I've been diagnosed with high cholesterol and acid reflux disease. I use Lipitor and Nexium to treat my conditions. The cost of these drugs is exorbitant! My lousy health insurance plan offers no relief because of a $2,000 deductible! Ordering these prescriptions from a Canadian pharmacy is the only way I can afford to treat my conditions. Robert

Candidate Rick Santorum Defends High Drug Prices In America

During a recent campaign appearance in front of a Tea Party crowd, as reported by ABC News, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum told a mother and her sick son that high drug costs are fair because they are determined by free market forces. It appears that Mr. Santorum doesn’t understand the crisis of prescription drug prices and that the market is failing to price prescription drugs within reach for 10s of millions of Americans.

ABC News ran an article about SOPA's role in shutting down illegal online pharmacies yesterday. The piece caught our attention because it doesn't acknowledge the fact that the proposed anti-piracy legislation would use a shotgun approach to target ALL non-US pharmacy websites, regardless of their legitimacy or value to US consumers.

You did it! You stopped SOPA and PIPA in their tracks. You delivered a wake up call to Congress! If ever I doubted the power of the people, I stand corrected now. For weeks it has looked as if the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) and Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) would fast track to an easy passage despite the lack of full and balanced hearings (never included tech experts) and criticism from the tech industry, consumer rights groups, entrepreneurs, and academics.
