I actually was referred to a Canadian pharmacy by a local druggist because my medications when combined together were very expensive and I was about to quit taking all of them. My druggist where I do purchase locally told me that I should not quit taking them but go to Canada. If this option is removed I will not be taking things I'm supposed to take. Robert

The Coalition is dedicated to promoting and protecting American consumer access to sources of safe, affordable prescription drugs. It seeks to inform and educate both the public and our elected officials on the complex issues surrounding prescription drug sales in this country.

Inspired by a generation of 60-somethings and born of necessity, online drug reimportation has become literally a “virtual lifeline” for many. This lifeline is now in grave danger of being destroyed by the very industry that gave birth to its necessity. Recent activities suggest that the $80 million dollar pledge that the U.S. pharmaceutical industry made in support of Obama’s health care reform could result in censorship of the internet. Patients who rely on non-U.S. drugs should be very scared about the possible actions that will follow the September 29th meeting between the White House and members of the internet infrastructure.
