Tell the President it's time to stand up to Big Pharma!posted Wed, 27 Jun 2012
On Monday, you answered our call to action in a nearly unprecedented manner. Within hours of our email, thousands of letters had been sent to senators all throughout the nation. Still, the Senate passed the final version of the FDA Safety and Innovation Act last night and it is headed to the President's desk.
We are calling on you to contact President Obama today! Tell him that the American people need to be protected from draconian measures that would strip us of our ability to buy affordable, life-saving drugs. Tell him to send Big Pharma a message they’re not used to hearing in Washington—elected officials should represent their constituents, not corporate interests!
Fired up and looking for other ways to take action? Call the White House and give them an earful.
Call (202) 456-1414 and tell them you have a message for the President. Then express your concern regarding section 708 of the FDA Safety and Innovation Act.
*Tip: You will likely talk to a staff member. Identify yourself as a constituent. Be respectful and to the point.
Here are some tips for phoning your elected officials.
Thanks in advance for taking yet another step to protect access to affordable prescription drugs!
*Please note, long distance fees may apply.
