I already get my medications from Canada. The meds come in the same bottle and are exactly the same as I would have gotten in the States. However, the price is 1/4 what I would have to pay in the States, so as far as I am concerned it is a no brainer for me. I have no health insurance due to the costs, which have risen beyond reasonable. Katie

Petition against E-PARASITE/SOPA successful!

posted Fri, 18 Nov 2011

Earlier this week, we asked our subscribers to take action against H.R.3261, the E-PARASITE Act (also known as the Stop Online Piracy Act or SOPA) by signing a petition on the White House website.

Thanks to your overwhelming response, we helped the petition to meet and even surpass its goal! When we sent the message, the petition was about halfway to the necessary 25,000 signature goal. Now, over 40,000 people have signed it! This means that White House staff members must review the petition and issue some sort of formal response to it.

The White House can no longer ignore the fact that if this bill passed, it would impact the health of countless Americans, especially those without insurance and seniors on fixed incomes.

Thank you for standing up to voice opposition to this bill (especially to those who persisted despite technical difficulties with the site)!

If you haven't already signed the petition, it's not too late to add your name.
